Tyler Paton-Pottage
Coach Tyler is the Founder of Jorvik Juniors Basketball, he is a young coach but has got a lot of experience in the short time he has done so.
He is a National League coach at York Eagles & Head of the Basketball programme at York College, and was recently selected to coach at Red Star Camp UK 2023, where he got to work with major names within UK Basketball.
Tyler started coaching juniors when he was actually 16! Tyler studied Sports Coaching at York College & University of Cumbria.
During his time at University, Tyler was lucky enough to go work out in Canada at a Basketball Camp, where he learned his many ways of relating to the juniors and ultimately Basketball.
Tyler came up with the idea of staring his own Basketball setup back in 2022, because he saw that Basketball is growing and aims at areas which have little to offer; and the mix of his “Young Blood Mentality” and his knowledge of the sport makes it a perfect combination!
